Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave its approval to the proposal for introduction of ‘Hub and Spoke’ model based bus service in 20 cities of the state with the purpose of strengthening the urban and intercity public transport system.

The Cabinet has approved construction of Bhopal, Indore 6-lane Access Control Green Field Expressway and the Bhopal Bypass cum Service Lane under the Bharatmala Project. Its total length will be 146.40 kms.

Administrative sanction of Rs 529.90 crore was also provided for land acquisition and forest land distribution has also been given. The Cabinet has ratified the decision to make Niwadi a new district. It will be the 52th
district of the state.

The Cabinet gave administrative sanction of Rs 515.18 crore for total irrigated area of 20 thousand hectare of Kota Bairaj Major Project, Rs 414.79 crore for total irrigated area of 11 thousand 575 hectare of Munjhri Irrigation Project, Rs 162.66 crore for total irrigated area of 4 thousand 830 hectare of Aapchand Irrigation Project, Rs 292.38 crore for total irrigated area of 9 thousand 990 hectare of Kopra Irrigation Project, Rs 226.62 crore for 6 thousand 500 hectare irrigated area of Sarkula Irrigation Project, Rs 1392.

42 crore for 40 thousand hectare irrigated area of Hanouta Irrigation Project, Rs 2627. 95 crore for 81 thousand 600 hectare irrigated area of Tapti Chillur Project and Rs 268.71 crore for 5 thousand 800 hectare irrigated area of Mendha Irrigation Project.

Engineering colleges to be opened in Raisen and Panna

The Cabinet has decided to set up a Government Engineering College in Raisen and Panna district headquarters. In this order, the decision to set up a new ITI in Dhimarkheda of Katni district and Mehgaon of Bhind district was also taken.

The Cabinet has decided to start a boys and girls hostel each in all development block headquarters of the state for children belonging to backward classes. Until the hostel building is constructed, the hostel will run in a rental building.

The Cabinet approved the new rates in place of scholarships being given to the students currently studying in graduate-post-graduate courses in Government Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, AYUSH Department and the salary being given to home physicians.

Now Rs. 7 thousand has been fixed for undergraduate course internship, Rs 25 thousand consolidated for home physician, Rs 28 thousand 500 for first year postgraduate course scholarship, Rs. 30 thousand for second year and Rs. 32 thousand for third year.

An additional expenditure of Rs. 4 crore 78 lakhs 16 thousand 184 will be borne on this approval. The approval was given to the amendment in the scheme implemented by the State Government for the disposal of loans taken by the students for higher education from the bank.

The Cabinet decided to reconstitute Gauhad and Mau tehsil by joining Itayada Gram Panchayat of Mau tehsil of Bhind district and Girgaon in Gauhar tehsil.

Now there will be 62 patwari halkas and 140 villages in Gohad tehsil and 30 patwari halkas and total 80 villages in Mau tehsil. Proposal for creation of new posts has been approved for the purpose of strengthening the Madhya Pradesh Land Records Management Society for the implementation of projects related to information technology of efficient management and revenue department of land records in the state.

The approval of the revised statutory structure was approved by the Council of Ministers under the Madhya Pradesh State Financial Services (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules 2018, after the rationalization in the current prevailing structure.

The Cabinet approved the proposal for amendment to include investment in the definition of plant machinery for the calculation of facilities under Industry Promotion Policy 2014. It was also decided to give consent for the use and trading of Naphtha produced by Bharat Oman Refinery Limited Bina, Sagar district to Bharat Oman Refinery Limited. The Cabinet approved the setting up of a solar energy park of 1500 MW capacity in Neemuch, Aagar and Shajapur.

The Cabinet approved the continuation of support / grant to Map-IT or other institutions for the new technology of Science and Technology Department from 2017-18 to 2019-20 and establishment of Cyber Security Lab for which a total of 6 posts were also approved.

The Cabinet approved creation of posts of 126 sentinels and 126 technical supervisors for arrangement of video conference between jails and courts. The Cabinet decided continuation of 420 regular temporary posts under Urban and Village Investment Madhya Pradesh Bhopal for five years from year 2017-18 to 2021-22.

The Cabinet decided to provide free government guarantee to Damoh Nagar Palika Parishad for loan of Rs 65 crores for construction of 1356 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

The Cabinet decided to include Gadaria, Kurmar, Hatkar, Haatkar, Gaadri, Dharia, Gosi, Gwala (Gadaria), Gari, Gayari, Gadaria (Pal Baghele) as sub-castes in the order no. 30 of the list of Nomadic and Semi-nomadic tribes with a mention of Dhangar on it.

The Cabinet granted approval to the proposals submitted in connection with mutual co-ordination and smooth operation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Madhya Pradesh State Illness Assistance Fund.
