Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that nursing homes, which are already established in the residential areas, will not be removed.
Provision will be made in the master plan in future to keep the place for the nursing homes safe in residential areas.
Shri Chouhan was addressing a conference of doctors organized at his residence here today. Representatives of 14 medical associations, junior doctors of government and private medical colleges took part in the conference.
Shri Chouhan said that the scholarships of medical students will be increased. In this connection, decision will be taken in the next Cabinet.
Shri Chouhan said that nursing homes will now get a Fire NOC within 20 days. It will be included in the Public Service Guarantee Legislation.
He said that the mandatory requirement of NABH for nursing homes is being terminated for two years. In these two years, nursing homes should fulfill its formalities.
A committee has been formed in connection with not imposing Section 304 without investigation on the death of a patient in the nursing home.
A member doctor of the Indian Medical Association and Nursing Home Association will be included in the committee. He said that a committee presided over by the Finance Minister has been formed for the cadre formation of doctors, which will soon take a decision in this regard.
Timely promotion of the teachers of Medical College will also be considered.
Shri Chouhan said that the contributions and cooperation of government and private medical staff will be significant in implementing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s biggest Yojana in the world – the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
He said that the beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana have also been added to the scheme.
Shri Chouhan said that medical colleges are being set up to fulfill the shortage of doctors and strengthen the health infrastructure in the state.
This chain will continue even further. He said that the state government gave all possible assistance to the medical community and the medical community has also served the people of the times in times of crisis.
Shri Chouhan said that government will bear the expenses of education of the meritorious students when they get admission in medical colleges.
Such outstanding children should not lag behind for want of finance. Health Minister Shri Rustum Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Radheshyam Julaniya and office-bearers of the nursing home association were also present at the conference.>
