Officials of Chhattisgarh State Hajj Committee, under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Sayyed Saifuddin, paid courtesy call on Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh released ‘Annual Report Hajj-2017’ published by State Hajj Committee.
Dr Singh was informed about the about the preparations being done by Hajj Committee in state for Hajj 2018. Delegation invited Chief Minister to attend State-level Vaccination and Hajj Kit Distribution Programme to be organized in the month of July.
Till date 454 Hajj passengers have been selected in Chhattisgarh for Hajj 2018. This includes 241 men and 213 women passenger.
Hajj pilgrims will leave from the state between July 29 and August 4. They will return from September 12 to September 18.
For convenience of Hajj pilgrims, presently training programme is being conducted in six different places of state i.e. Raipur, Bilaspur, Jagdalpur (Bastar), North Bastar (Kanker), Ambikapur (Sarguja) and Bhilai (Durg).
On the occasion, Member of Chhattisgarh State Hajj Committee Md Salim Khan and Ex-Member Rifat Ali were also present.>
