Amid the initial euphoria over the opening of the Kartarpur corridor, the Pakistan government has said that it will allow 500 Indian Sikhs per day to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur Sahib.
It is said that the draft of the proposals mentions that each pilgrim will also have to carry his passport and security clearance certificate
from the Indian government in English.
While the proposal is still in the realsm of speculation, it is said that Pakistani officials will soon be
taking up this issue with their Indian counterparts.
It is also being said that the corridor will remain open from 8 am to 5 pm daily.
