On a three nation visit in South East Asia, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met his newly-elected Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Mohammad.
The two leaders held deliberations on range of issues of bilateral interest and ofcourse exchanged views on strengthening the strategic partnership.
Prime Minister had earlier visited Indonesia and visited Kuala Lumpur today on the second leg of his three-nation tour.
The two leaders met in Perdana Putra Complex, Putrajaya.
It need be mentioned that Mahathir Mohammad, in his nineties, was sworn in as Malaysia’s prime minister on May 10.
He led the opposition alliance to a stunning election victory over the Barisan Nasional coalition.>
