Oppo’s Vice President Brain Shen has revealed some specifications about the new Reno Ace.
Some of these specifications include 65W fast charging support, 90 Hz display quality; much like the OnePlus 7 Pro.
The new Oppo Reno Ace is set to launch on October 10.
The Reno Ace is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, which offers a slightly faster CPU and GPU compared to the standard SD855 powering the Reno 10x Zoom.
Oppo Reno Ace will be a new flagship phone from the company after the Reno 10x Zoom.
In addition to announcing that the Reno Ace will launch in China on October 10, the Oppo VP recently also confirmed that the phone will feature a 65W Super VOOC fast charging support.
This will be faster than than the 50W fast charging tech on the Oppo R17 Pro.
In a new teaser, Oppo claims the 65W fast charging tech will fully charge the Reno Ace in just under 30 minutes.
The high refresh rate screen will offer a smooth browsing and gaming experience.
The Reno Ace is also rumoured to feature a waterfall display with extremely curved edges as seen on the new Vivo NEX 3. Additionally, the Reno Ace is said to come with a 4,000mAh battery.
There is no word yet on whether the Reno Ace will launch in India, but it is expected.
The company has so far launched all its Reno phones in the country.
In fact, the Reno 2 series made its global debut in India touting quad cameras and a premium glass design.
The Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F are mid-range smartphones, while the Reno Ace will be a high-end flagship that will likely replace the Reno 10x Zoom following its launch on October 10.
