Out on bail, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav is headed to Mumbai to get treatment for his heart ailment.
He has been granted bail of six weeks on medical grounds.
Lalu Yadav is expected to reach Mumbai today evening itself and will visit Asian Heart Institute where he had gone for a bypass surgery in 2014.
According to family sources, Lalu had sought an appointment from the doctors at the Asian Heart Institute following which he will be leaving for Mumbai today.
Sources have also informed that after the heart treatment in Mumbai, Lalu will be going to Bengaluru to undergo treatment for his kidney disease.
It may be mentioned that the RJD chief was admitted to Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna on Saturday after he complained of hypertension and giddiness.
Lalu Yadav has been convicted in the four cases relating to fodder scam.
