With Mecca Masjid blast verdict out, the MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi spoke of contemplating to meet Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governor ESL Narasimhan.
He said that he would appeal the Governor make direction to the government to conduct a fresh investigation into the Mecca Masjid blast case.
It need be mentioned that the meeting may now take place at 4 pm on Thursday.
Owaisi also questioned the silence of the Prime Minister on the verdict in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case.
He insisted on the need to stand with the victims of the Mecca Masjid blast.
Owaisi went on to accuse the NIA of deliberately engaging a weak advocate to represent the agency in the case.
Owaisi also promised legal aid to the family of any victim seeking to appeal against the judgment.
He said that terrorism has become a new religion in itself.
It need be recalled that a special NIA court in Hyderabad on Monday acquitted all five accused including Swami Aseemanand in the Mecca Masjid blast case.>
