A bad news for BJP in the preparations for assembly elections. Padma Shukla, president of the state’s social welfare board, has resigned from the primary membership of the party. she has written a letter to the party president Rakesh Singh saying that she is constantly neglected.
According to the information, Padma Shukla, president of the Madhya Pradesh State Social Welfare Board (cabinet rank), resigned from the party’s membership. With this, she has also resigned from the post of Chairman of the Board.
In a letter to BJP’s state president Rakesh Singh, Padma Shukla wrote that she has been a member of the party since 1980 and discharged whatever responsibility the party gave her.
But in the Vijayaraghvad assembly constituency, the party is constantly being neglected by 2014. Sadly, she is resigning from the primary membership of the party. she also announced the resignation of Chairman of Social Welfare Board.
It is believed that they may soon join the Congress. Padma Shukla contested against BJP against Sanjay Pathak in the last assembly elections. Later, Sanjay Pathak joined the BJP and became a minister. Since then, Padma Shukla and her supporters are marginalized.
However, the resignation of Padma Shukla is considered to be a major setback for the BJP as it is considered as a strong BJP leader of that area.>
