Pakistan promises providing consular access to Jadhav as well; at an appropriate time though
As wife and mother of arrested Indian retired naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav met the alleged ‘spy’, Pakistan on Monday went ahead and promised to consider providing him a consular access as well albeit at an appropriate time.
Though the Pakistani establishment described Jadhav as face of Indian terror, they added that more meetings with the family could follow.
Jadhav met his wife and mother at the Foreign Office for around 40 minutes, but interacted through a glass panel and intercom.
The arrested Indian citizen is on death row but his case is pending before the International Court of Justice.>
