Yet again, the Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned UN chief Antonio Guterres to raise the “Kashmir issue”.
This was confirmed by the UN spokesperson.
The UN Secretary General spokesperson, however, did not give further details about the conversation between Imran Khan and Guterres.
Spokesperson added that the Pakistani prime minister wanted to speak to the Secretary-General.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar recently said that “Statements coming out from their (Pakistan) side demonstrates the insincerity and duplicity”.

India has maintained that UNMOGIP has outlived its utility and is irrelevant after the Simla Agreement and the consequent establishment of the Line of Control (LoC).>
