Last week saw the release of three major films- The Zoya Factor, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and Prassthanam. While audience were spoilt for choice, the films were not able to attract many eyeballs because of the poor content.
The film that performed best among the three releases of last week is Karan Deol’s Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. While The Zoya Factor struggled to keep afloat, Prassthanam did reasonable business.
Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas stars two newcomers- Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba. The film, directed by Sunny Deol, opened with Rs 1.1 to 1.2 crore on the first day of its release.
It earned Rs 1.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.85 crore on Sunday. On Monday, it made around Rs 90 lakh and on Tuesday, the collection is expected to drop further to around Rs 70 lakh.
