The ongoing spat on the Rafale fighter jet deal between India and France has reached the Supreme Court.
The top court, it is learnt, has agreed to to hear a plea next week.
The plea is to seek a stay on the Rafale fighter jet deal between India and France.
The matter was heard by a bench comprising Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud.
The Supreme Court bench considered the submissions of advocate ML Sharma.
It need be mentioned that in his Public Interest Litigation, Sharma alleged discrepancies in the fighter jet deal between India and France and sought stay on it.>
