PM Modi addresses rally in poll bound Mizoram, takes on Congress

He took potshots at the Congress and said that the Congress culture is to "delay, halt and divert"

In poll bound Mizoram, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress of ignoring development in state.

He said that Mizoram and other parts of the northeast India have chosen development and thus have moved beyond shutdowns, guns and blockades.

PM Modi reiterated his attack on Congress leaders for calling the attire of the northeast outlandish.
“In the last four years, the BJP government at the Centre, has worked for greater recognition, and spread of Indian culture and traditions, far and wide,” he said.

PM Modi said that it is due to the Congress government in Mizoram that the people are not being able to benefit from it.

In fact, the Congress government does not bother about Mizoram.

The 40-seat Mizoram Assembly will go to polls on November 28. Counting of votes will take place on December 11.
