While in Janjgir of Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the development works of the incumbent Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.
He said that Dr Raman did not stop at giving out subsidized rice under government scheme but also added that CM continued to work for development of the masses of the state.
Prime Minister Modi said that while he did not receive urea earlier, they used to sustain cane-charging when going to demand urea.
PM Modi said that on the other hand, now the government of India is keen to participate on the efforts of the Chhattisgarh government because each and every penny is accounted for and gets invested in development of the state.
PM Modi also recalled how an earlier Prime Minister used to say that one rupee sanctioned for masses fizzled out to mere 15 paise when actually reached to the hands of beneficiaries.
He said that the times have changed as works get done for hundred percent of the value.>
