PM Modi spoke over ‘judicial crisis’; heres what he said

It has been described as a judicial crisis of sorts but it is also first time that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke of it publically.

In a television interview, Modi said that he is of the firm opinion that both the government and various political parties need to stay out of it.

He expressed confidence that the issue will be resolved internally in discussion with the stakeholders of the institution.

Among other things of significance, Modi said that budgets do not have to be populist in nature ahead of elections and also attacked the Congress party for not supporting the triple talaq bill in the upper house of the Parliament.

He also spoke of how the farmers’ issue is being taken up by the central government but admitted that there were issues that required to be confronted.
