PM Narendra Modi meets India’s 2020 Tokyo Paralympians

India bagged an all-time high 19 medals including five gold, eight silver and six bronze in the recently concluded Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met the Indian Paralympians who participated in the Tokyo Paralympics. Mr. Modi interacted with the medal winners.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said paralympians are the ambassadors of the country. Mr Modi said they have increased the prestige of the nation on the world stage.

Hosting Indian Paralympic Contingent at his residence, Mr Modi praised the indomitable spirit and will power of the entire Contingent.

He exhorted the para-athletes to identify and work in few areas outside sports to motivate people and help bring change.
