Police cracks case of robbery in Raipur, nabs six accused

Police have said that out of the six accused, three belong from Chhattisgarh

Police in Raipur have claimed to have cracked the case of major recent robbery.

The robbery had been carried out near Anupam Garden and the police have so far arrested six of the accused.

The amount involved in the robbery is said to be to the tune of Rs 31 lakhs.

Police have said that out of the six accused, three belong from Chhattisgarh itself while the others are from a different state.

The excise constable Prashant Sharma had been looted at the time of the cash.

The robbery took place on July 14.

It is said that the constable was on his way to Dangania with cash collected from areas included Mova, Tikrapara and Purani Basti.
