Police force plays vital role in development activities, says CM Raman Singh

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today said met trainee officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) -2017 at his official residence.

The team is on a two-day study tour of the State. Dr. Raman Singh wished them a bright future. Chief Minister said that police and security forces play a crucial role in maintaining law and order and developmental works.

They provide cover to those who lay roads and build culverts-bridges other crucial works in Dantewada, Sukma, Bijapur and other LWE -affected districts.

He called upon the young police officers to face challenges and ultimately they will be rewarded with success. They will be tested daily in professional duties.

Dr. Raman Singh called upon the trainees to perform Yoga daily as it gives energy for the entire day. The officers will tour Bastar also. He said that Chhattisgarh is developing rapidly.

He added that Naya Raipur is the First Smart City of 21st Century. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Aman Kumar Singh and other senior officers were also present.
