In yet another major success for the security forces countering the naxal menace, at least 12 naxals believed to have been involved in Kistaram Palodi attack on CRPF mine protected vehicle have been apprehended.

The police in Sukma of Chhattisgarh have nabbed these ultras from the very police station limits of Kistaram Palodi itself.

The development has also been confirmed by the Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena.

It need be recalled that the ultras had blown apart a Mine Protected Vehicle of the CRPF recently after which the security forces launched a massive manhunt to capture the rebels.

It was this operation that also forced the surrender of as many as 59 naxals on March 29 itself.
