In his fourth visit to the Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several of the projects in Jangal of Bijapur district
The tribal dominated and also restive region claimed a place in history with the inauguration of these ambitious projects.
Apart from the Ayushman Yojana, the Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the Bastar Net Project first phase as well as the first phase of railway services for the North Bastar.
In his visit to the area, the Prime Minister also interacted with the workers of different welfare schemes
He took the opportunity to inaugurate the bank branches in seven different villages including Jangla during this trip.
It is said that the people of these bank deprived villages will also have ATM facility at their disposal within the Bastar revenue division.
Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the first phase of Bastar Net Project to provide internet connectivity to the districts including Bijapur, Narainpur, Bastar, Kanker, Kondagaon, Sukma and Dantewada.
The total project would encompass around 40 thousand sq kilometers area of the southern Bastar.
Prime Minister Modi also visited the different stalls and also sought feedback on different schemes being run by the government.
He appreciated the rural BPO scheme and hoped that this should evolve as major employment provider in this region as well.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh hailed the decision of the Prime Minister to inaugurate the national health protection scheme from Jangla of Bijapur in Chhattisgarh.
With the inauguration, the health and wellness center has already started functioning in Jangla and it would provide crucial services like maternal and child medical services.
The national level scheme aims to encompass 10 crores under privileged families.
The scheme would entail five lakh rupees worth medical care to under privileged families annually.>
