Prime Minister Modi likely to visit Bijapur in April; to announce major devlpt works

Prime Minister may also inaugurate the Central Assistance Scheme

Even amid the rising naxal incidents in the restive regions of the Chhattisgarh state, it is now being speculated that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi might visit the Bijapur district and announce major developmental works.

Sources informed that the Prime Minister is most likely to visit Bijapur on April 14 and would inaugurate the health center located in Jangla of the district.

The Prime Minister may also inaugurate the Central Assistance Scheme, earlier known as Integrated Action Plan, in which an allocation of Rs 28.75 crores might be made for selected districts.

It is also said that Prime Minister may also dedicate to the public a Sankalp Sthal being instituted in remembrance of martyrs.

Finally, PM Modi would also announce Rs 150 crores worth of developmental works for the district.
