Prime Minister Modi reveals why he opted for Bijapur !!

The daughters of these districts also should be given opportunities by providing them sound education and upgrading their skills

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi today appreciated the rapid socio-economic development of Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) affected district Bijapur. He congratulated the people’s representatives and officers-employees of the entire district. Mr. Modi said the districts which are backward and weak can be encouraged to become developed ones.

Mr. Modi said that there are around 100 districts which can be labelled as backward and weak in the entire country. The daughters of these districts also should be given opportunities by providing them sound education and upgrading their skills. The districts should be partners in development. The citizens of the backward districts also deserve better hospitals, schools and drinking water facilities. This is the main reason that the Union Government had chosen more than 100 districts as Aspirational Districts. The districts will be developed with ‘Nayee Soch-Naye Approach’.

Mr. Modi revealed that he had called the officers of these districts for a meeting in January and urged them to develop the districts. He will tour the most developed ones. Hence he had selected Bijapur district on Ambedkar Jayanti.

He congratulated the district administration for bringing radical changes in just three months. He called upon the people’s representatives, officers-employees to work in co-ordination and develop all the districts. Each district has its own peculiar problems which can be sorted out by the local people’s representatives.

Local resources should be put into use. Little steps make a lot of difference. The officials here are working in tandem in developing the district.
