Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled days when ‘he used to sit and chat with journos’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi fondly recalled the days when he used to serve in the BJP party headquarters and also had opportunity to interact with the journalists.
He said that now he does not get time to sit and chat like the good old days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was speaking to seniors editors and journalists during a post-Diwali function, an annual meet that takes place at the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters on Ashoka Road in the national capital since the party came into power.
Amongst other key takeaways from his speech included that there needs to be internal democracy within our political parties and that only then can political parties stay in sync with what the people want and prepare for the next generation.
He also said that it is natural to meet many kinds of people who have differing views on how things should be done or handled. Modi said that it takes time for one to distinguish if the person sitting in front of us is saying things with an agenda or is genuinely trying to contribute.>
