It is the poll bound state of Chhattisgarh that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit yet again tomorrow.
This will be Modi’s second visit to the poll-bound state in the last two months which should display the significance of the state for the ruling BJP in state and national election.
Security has been beefed up to unprecedented levels in view of the recent revelation that Modi is under threat.
The security apparatus, both from central and state levels, are working tirelessly to plug all the gaps.
It is widely reported that Modi will not hold roadshow here in Bhilai as has been insisted by the intel agencies.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Integrated Command and Control Centre at Naya Raipur whereafter he will head to Bhilai to will inaugurate Raipur-Jagdalpur air service, lay foundation stone for the new building of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) besides dedicating to the nation the expanded and modernised Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) of SAIL.
Modi will also address a public meeting at Jayanti Stadium in Bhilai besides CM Dr Raman Singh.
As per schedule issued, PM Modi will arrive at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur by a special aircraft of Indian Air Force at 10.40 am on June 14 and will proceed to Naya Raipur by road.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister will also take time out to distribute laptops under Suchna Kranti Yojana scheme to five students apart from distribution of citations, cheques and materials to select beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana, Standup and Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Scheme, Mukhya Mantri Aabadi Patta Vitaran Yojana.
Chief minister Raman Singh, Union minister of steel Chaudhary Birender Singh and Chhattisgarh Minister Prem Prakash Pandey will get to address the gathering.>
