Remembering the former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee who is always connected with the state of Chhattisgarh, he also lauded the efforts and achievements of the CM Dr Raman Singh.
Modi said that while Atal Behari Vajpayee felt very close to Chhattisgarh state and even worked to realize the aspirations of its people, it is great fortune that the state has now a great leader in the form of Dr Raman Singh.
He credited Dr Raman Singh for leading Chhattisgarh to new heights.
The success of Chhattisgarh impressed the Prime Minister so much that so far he has posted 13 tweets on Chhattisgarh alone.
He termed the Chhattisgarh visit as memorable one and noted that the projects that he had the opportunity to inaugurate today would bring about great change in lives of the people of the state.
He had earlier said that CM Dr Raman Singh had been striving for the IIT to be brought to the state for long but the aspiration could be realized only under the BJP regime.
