It was seen as a rather derogatory remark from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and now it stands expunged from the Parliament records.
It need be mentioned that remarks made by the Prime Minister Modi was in context of Congress leader BK Hariprasad.
Hariprasad was contesting for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha but the Janata Dal United candidate Harivansh emerged victorious.
It was then that the Prime Minister spoke and one of his remark was thought of as not in good taste.
BK Hariprasad was the opposition candidate.
PM Modi, in his speech congratulating Harivansh, said the election was between “two Haris”.
He went on to make a comment that infuriated the Congress and was seen as derogatory to Mr Hariprasad.>
