Pro-Khalistan group claims Jalandhar blast, police yet to verify

The bomb blast that took place at a police station in Jalandhar may have been caused by separatists and sympathizers of Khalistan.

The blast had left two police personnel injured.

It is said that case was solved after a pro-Khalistan extremist group claimed responsibility for the explosion.

It is said that ‘Bhindranwale Tigers Force of Khalistan’ has issued letter to this effect on its letterhead that has went viral on social media.

The group took responsibility of the four low-intensity blasts that took place at the Maqsudan police station.

But the Jalandhar police says that it would verify the letters and their veracity.

It need be mentioned that a forensic team from the Punjab Police and an investigation team from the National Security Guard today reached the police station to examine the kind of material used in the blast.
