Public apology being demanded from Pakistan Chief Justice; heres why
Yet another row erupted in judiciary albeit in the neighboring country of Pakistan.
The row pertains to when Pakistan after Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Saqib Nisar quoted British Prime Minister Winston Churchill where it was said that good speech is like woman’s skirt.
The analogy was made during an event in Karachi but it has not gone down well with the society it appears.
Because many a women’s rights activists have now begun demanding public apology from the Chief Justice of Pakistan for his comments.
They mostly argued that with such statements, only “deep-rooted sexism” has yet again been exposed. >
