Punjab CM terms grenade attack in Amritsar as ‘terror’ attack, said this

incident claimed killed three people to which the CM said that there is no communal case here

Keen to crack the Amritsar grenade attack case, the Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh termed it pure case of terrorism.

The incident claimed killed three people to which the CM said that there is no communal case here.

The incident took place on Sunday at a prayer hall in Amritsar.

A man has been arrested for the attack, a hunt is on for the other, the Chief Minister said.

The arrested man has been identified as Bikramjit Singh while search for another accused Avtar Singh is on.

Three people were killed and 20 injured in the attack at the Nirankari Bhawan at Amritsar’s Rajasansi village.

The police had initially said they were also investigating the possible involvement of terrorists supporting the demand for Khalistan.

Several people from Sikh separatist organisations were detained for questioning.

But the Chief Minister said today that Pakistani intelligence agency ISI was behind the attack.
