Rahul Gandhi alleges ‘politics of fear’ by central govt; CM Raman Singh tweets on Cong chief

Gandhi said that even media people are apprehensive of being targeted nowadays, such is the dire situation

On his arrival in Chhattisgarh and interaction with the Panchayat representatives, the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi alleged the central and state government to be indulging in politics of fear.

Rahul Gandhi pointed to the press conference addressed earlier this year by the Supreme Court judges to allege that while there is apprehension in judiciary, there is also similar sentiments in the media as well.

In a veiled attack, he said that a murder accused is national party chief.

Gandhi said that even media people are apprehensive of being targeted nowadays, such is the dire situation.

Rahul Gandhi also questioned as to who may be paying up for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s massive media coverage.

Rahul Gandhi said that despite the efforts to crush the democracy with the authoritarianism, Congress is working to be voice of the people.

He promised Chhattisgarh that education and health as well as employment could be sectors of primary focus if the state votes in Congress in the election later this year.

He also assured that Panchayat representatives of now cowing down before the state government and that Congress would back you up for your genuine aspirations.

He also spoke on Karnataka episode and said that country is watching as to what is happening there.

However, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh tweeted to the visiting Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.

He said that Rahul Gandhi is here in Chhattisgarh to learn a thing or two about development and governance.
