During the current year’s monsoon season in Madhya Pradesh, 20 percent above than normal rainfall has been recorded in 5 districts till August 6.
Similarly normal rainfall is recorded in 34 districts of the state.
There are 12 districts in the state where low rainfall has been registered. Highest rainfall i.e. 665.6 millimeter in Mandla and lowest rainfall 238.6 millimeter has been recorded in Alirajpur.
Above normal rainfall has been recorded in Morena, Singruali, Neemuch, Datia and Bhind district.
Normal rainfall has been recorded in Jabalpur, Seoni, Mandla, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Rewa, Chhattarpur and Shivpuri.
Likewise, normal rains has been recorded in Satna, Umaria, Mandsaur, Jhabua, Indore, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Badwani, Ujjain, Ratlam, Dewas, Shajapur, Sheopurkalan, Agar-Malwa, Guna, Bhopal, Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen, Rajgarh, Hoshangabad and Sidhi district.
Similarly, low rainfall has been recorded in Balaghat, Dindori, Katni, Anuppur, Dhar, Alirajpur, Harda, Betul, Shahdol, Khargone, Gwalior and Ashoknagar district.>
