Rains lash Mumbai yet again; weather to normalize on Sept 21

Heavy rains yet again lashed at the commercial capital Mumbai. This comes only a few days after sudden thunderstorms that had taken Mumbai by surprise. Many areas in Mumbai witnessed heavy rainfall that commenced early Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, the rains are expected to continue for at least two to three hours before slowing down, according to weather services. Amongst other predictions include traffic snarls and waterlogging in many parts of Mumbai. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over north-coastal Maharashtra and adjoining South Gujarat, causing the rains. The weather is expected to improve by September 21.
