Raipur school allegedly misbehaves with students for non-payment of fees
In a rather shocking sequence of events that took place in Sunder Nagar based Sanjay Public School, the school students were locked in a store-room allegedly for not paying up the fees.
It need be mentioned that the as per allegation, the students were not even allowed to sit in exams due to lack of payment of fees.
The incident rightly sparked outrage and many parents took staging demonstration at the school.
However, it is said that the teachers turned the whole thing around and threatened to file police complaint against the parents of the students who had been held up.
The Raipur administration rushed in the SDM to look into the matter.
The parents and teaching staffers were even seen exchanging verbal barbs in front of the administrative officer.
The SDM took the statements of the teaching staff and the school Principal in writing.
The parents, however, alleged that the students of class II and IV were made to sit in store room and were also deprived of the opportunity to face exams.
Many of the political activists also reached the spot to intervene in favour of the parents.
The whole issue has now been brought to the cognizance of Protection of Child Rights Commission.
