Ahead of the state election, the Rajasthan government schools would hold extra-curricular activities to include teachers, headmasters, people of local, state or national significance will speak to the students and narrate stories.
The government has identified as the third Saturday for this purpose.
Among the activities would include, stories of saints which would be read out to the students by teachers or headmaster.
This is being done to improve the students on moral indicators, it was said.
The Indian culture will be promoted through these activities, the administration said while adding that such stories would inspire them to become good human beings and good citizens.
These co-curricular activities would be made mandatory in all government, non-governmental, CBSE-affiliated schools, residential schools, specialised training camps and teaching training schools.
