Rajasthan and Telanaga to go to the polls, campaigning has intensified in both states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigned for the BJP in both states and urged people to vote in its favour to bring greater development to the states.
Addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur on Monday, Prime Minister slammed the Congress party over Hindutva remarks and said that the Congress claims to know what the greatest intellectuals don’t.
PM Modi accused the Congress of mudslinging and said that it seems that the Congress has started a university for spreading untruths. Prime Minister also said that vote bank politics can’t bring development.
Addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad, PM Modi said, “Congress and KCR are apprentices. They talk about appeasement and casteism. PM urged people of Telangana to defeat autocracy and make democracy win.
Prime Minister reiterated that the government is committed to the upliftment of the poor. PM termed Congress and KCR as two sides of the same coin.
BJP President Amit Shah too held a poll rally in Rajasthan. Amit Shah began his day by offering prayers at Sawalia Seth Temple. Following prayers, Amit Shah held a poll rally in Chittaurgarh.
Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted the achievements of the Central and the State Government to the public.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi also addressed public meetings in Gadwal and Tandur in Telangana directly hit out at KCR. He levelled serious charges of corruption against KCR government in Telangana. Sachin Pilot also addressed rally.
Campaigning will end on Wednesday as elections in the two states are scheduled to be held on December 7. Meanwhile, all political parties are leaving no stone unturned to reach out to the voters.>
