Ram Navami further heats up politics between BJP, Trinamool

The attack left four people injured, it is said

The BJP and Trinamool politics is heating up in West Bengal even on the occasions like Ram Navami.

In the latest incident, it is the BJP that alleges that Trinamool workers attacked one of their pandals erected for Ram Navami in Bardhman district.

The attack left four people injured, it is said.

Meanwhile, BJP has plans for major Ram Navami rallies across the West Bengal amid tight security in view of rising political rivalries between the two parties.

This is especially in view of the fact that Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh has confirmed people participating in the rallies would be carrying traditional arms as well.

However, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is said to have told officials that law and order must be maintained and has also reportedly directed the administrations that those organizations which have been celebrating the Ram Navami rallies with arms for more than a decade will be allowed to carry arms.

But the BJP plans half a dozen such rallies in Kolkata alone.
