Raman Singh visits restive Bastar village as part of Lok Suraaj; praises Mitanin’s efforts

Chief Minister Dr Singh also announced development works worth Rs 97 lakhs

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh reached village Singanpur of Tokapal block in restive Bastar district as part of Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan.

On reaching there, he inquired from the officials about the application received from the locals and its redressal thereafter.

Chief Minister Dr Singh also announced development works worth Rs 97 lakhs for villages Singanpur, Totar, Chhapar and Bhanpuri apart from village Korli.

Prominent amongst the major announcements are Rs 6 lakhs for water supply pipelines and solar pump between village Singanpur and Chondimeta.

The CM also announced Rs 5 lakhs for solar pump for drinking water purposes in Sadakpara of Singanpur.

In his address there, CM Dr Singh said that various problems of rurals can be sorted out within Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan.

He cited the instance of how more than hundred people had been left out from the ration cards in the area but now they would be added.

CM Dr Singh said that tribals and tendupatta collectors would also be provided with the gas connections under Ujjwala scheme.

Chief Secretary Ajay Singh, Chitrakote MLA Deepak Baij, former MLA Baiduram Kashyap and Apex Bank chairman Ashok Bajaj along with Subodh Singh, secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, were also present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh also praised Srimati Sethia for his major contribution in health of the area as she has been working despite the absence of hospital.
