Ranveer Singh is B-Town’s favourite boy. He has managed to impress everyone with his acting on screen, and with his antiques when the camera rolls off. The actor celebrated his 33rd birthday on July 6, and his friends and colleagues made sure to make the day a memorable one.
The Khilji of Bollywood was wished by almost the entire film fraternity. One such wish that caught our attention was that of Akshay Kumar. The Khiladi Kumar tweeted, “One word that comes to mind for Ranveer: Dynamite. Dynamic personality and vibes which always make you smile. Wishing you a very happy birthday and an explosive year ahead.”
Ranveer has never shied away from expressing his love for Akshay Kumar and has always openly admitted about how much he adores him. So this birthday wish from the superstar himself was nothing less than a fanboy moment for Ranveer. Thanking Akshay for wishing him, the Befikre actor wrote, “When I grow up, I want to be like Akshay Kumar! Love you sir!”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh has a number of films lined up in the near future. Recently, he returned to the city from Hyderabad, where he wrapped up the first schedule of Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop-comedy Simmba. The film also stars newbie Sara Ali Khan, who will play the female lead. The project is a dream-come-true for Ranveer Singh as he had always wanted to work with Rohit Shetty.
Ranveer will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, alongside Alia Bhatt. He will play a desi street rapper in the film.
Apart from Simmba and Gully Boy, Ranveer will also star in ’83, directed by Kabir Khan. The film is based on India’s historic win over West Indies in the 1983 cricket world cup. Ranveer Singh will be seen portraying the legendary Kapil Dev.>
