Rishi Kapoor on returning mumbai

For many Bollywood actors, a break for work means staying away from films for a small period of time and they see it as a way to bounce back. Speaking of this, the star of films like Mulk and 102 Not Out, Rishi Kapoor has been out of action for over 10 months as he moved to New York back in 2018 for his cancer treatment.

Rishi Kapoor had informed his fans via a tweet about his departure and had urged people not to speculate. Now, that he is hail and hearty, the senior actor can’t wait to be back in celluloid.

Rishi Kapoor mentioned that he is itching to come back to Mumbai as he has been missing work more than ever. The Kapoor & Sons actor mentioned that he has never taken a long break like this from work in his career of 45 years and yearned to return. Amidst this, he even highlighted that despite the health issue, he feels charged up and refreshed to be back to films.

Rishi Kapoor also expressed his gratitude to all the stars who travelled to meet him in New York and praised his wife for being by his side in the most difficult times of his life.

Meanwhile, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza caught up with Rishi and Neetu Kapoor recently in New York along with Anupam Kher. Also, Neetu Kapoor mentioned in her caption that the countdown has begun for them hinting that Rishi Kapoor and she are all set to return. While Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor have been in New York, many of Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and more visited him.
