The most awaited yearly prize distribution and cultural program – RITOFEST 2K18 concludes on 24th Feb 2018 by giving message on women empowerment and save girl child. On this auspicious day State Information Commissioner IAS Ashok Kumar Agrawal, Joint Chief Electoral Officer IAS Sameer Vishnoi, Chief Executive Officer of Raipur Jila Panchayat IAS Neelesh Kshirsagar, Chairman of MES & Ex MLA Swaroopchand Jain, Director ABLR Shubhika Jain were present as Special Guest.
Secretary of MES Shailendra Jain welcomed all the dignitaries by presenting them a plant sapling and in his welcome speech he told that this is 23rd year of RITOFEST and just after one year we will be celebrating the birthday of RITEE & RITOFEST together as it will be our Silver Jubilee year. He added RITOFEST is just like a family function where we all RITIANS enjoy and participate in various activities of our family RITEE. The entire RITOFEST cultural and prize distribution program was coordinated by prof Vaishali Pendse along with Prof KK Pathak, Sapan Thakur, Priyank Jha and other professors.
Firstly the lamp was lighted up by the dignitaries present and a welcome song was sung by the students of RITEE. Diksha and group of MCA showcased dance & drama based on women empowerment and save girl child. This program was highly appreciated by the audience. Then came PANTHI nritya and Chhattisgadhi song ” Hamar Para Tuhar Para ” which was performed by Salim, Aditya & group students of DDU of RITEE . Sister duo Ratika & Kratika Bhargav performed a mesmerizing cultural dance which too was highly appreciated.
Neeraj & group of Civil & biotech took audience to the yesteryears by their performance on the song ” Mere sapno ki rani kab aayegi tu” and then took audience to 90’s by the song ” Hawa Hawa ye hawa” and finally ended with ” Koi mil gaya ” . A tribute to Asha Bhosle and Helen was given by Shawna of nursing by her mesmerising performance on ” Ye mera dil yaar ka deewana…” . Then fire on water by the great performance on the song ” Tu cheez badi hai mast mast…” by Renuka of Hotel Management.
The entire audience was made to stand on their feet and dance with this great performance. Then students performed Garba, then punjabi tadka was mixed, then halloween dance, then Rajasthani dance by Sanskriti & group, Aditya & group, Shweta Jangde, Shisha and other students of RITEE.
Chairman Swaroopchand Jain, Secretary Shailendra Jain presented memento to the special guests present and lastly principal of Raipur Institute of Technology Dr RPS Chouhan gave vote of thanks and urged students to do research work and publish research paper. Chief of Communications of RITEE greeted all for the coming Holi festival and urged to play a safe holi.>
