RJD to challenge verdict against Lalu Yadav; heres what happened

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has said that it would challenge the verdict of the special CBI court in high court.

It need be mentioned that RJD supremo Lalu Yadav was convicted in fodder scam on Saturday but the sentence will be pronounced ono January 3 of next year.

The court acquitted another former Bihar Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra and five others in the case.

Senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh described his disappointment with the decision and cried conspiracy.

Lalu Prasad has been sent to jail. Angry RJD workers tried to stop the police vehicle when Lalu Prasad was being taken to jail.

In New Delhi, RJD leader Manoj Jha said that the “caged parrot” (referring to the CBI) has been “unleashed on political rivals” who do not bow before the BJP.

He said the decision would not weaken the RJD workers’ resolve to fight back its rivals politically.

Special CBI Judge Shivpal Singh delivered the judgment at around 3.40 p.m.
