Robbery at ruling party leader’s house, this happened

Amid tight security for the parliamentary poll, a massive robbery took place at a JD(U) leader’s house in Gaya.

Police said that jewellery worth rupees three lakh and rupees four lakh in cash was allegedly stolen.

The house is said to have been located in Rampur area.

The police alleged that the accused entered the residence of JD (U) Gaya Mahanagar vice president Shahzad Shah by breaking down the main door.

Police added that the robbers then took off with rupees four lakh in cash and jewellery worth rupees three lakh.

The police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
