Rogue N Korea fires missile yet again towards Japan; had threatened to ‘sink’ Japan

The rogue state of North Korea yet again proved how little it cared for international rules when it endangered Japan by firing a intermediate range missile towards it. It need be mentioned that North Korea had only yesterday threatened to sink Japan even the Japanese premiere was in India.  The missile flew over Japan’s northern Hokkaido far out into the Pacific Ocean on Friday, as per news reports. This has only further heightened tensions after Pyongyang’s recent test of its most powerful nuclear bomb. The missile on Friday is said to have traveled about 2,000 km (1,240 miles) east of Hokkaido, confirmed Japanese officials. However, according to data released by the South Korean military, the missile flew to a range of approximately 3,700 kilometers while reaching an apogee of 770 kilometers over a flight time of 17 minutes. Japan warned civilians on Hokkaido of a missile overflight, activating sirens and issuing electronic alerts. It was the longest demonstrated flight test of a ballistic missile ever conducted by North Korea and the second instance of the country overflying Japan with a system designed to deliver nuclear warheads.
