Rohit Shetty Opened up about Working with Actor Ranveer Singh

At an event, filmmaker Rohit Shetty opened up about working with actor Ranveer Singh in his upcoming film Simmba.

Awaiting the release, of Rohit Shetty’s Simmba the filmmaker is happy betting his money on Ranveer Singh.

And why not because we all know that Ranveer Singh is every directors dream actor, having a string of super-hit films to his credit.

Rohit Shetty’s 2017 film Golmaal Again was a blockbuster as the film earned over Rs 200 at the box office.

But with his upcoming venture with Ranveer Singh, Simmba, the filmmaker hopes to break all previous records and set a new milestone in the history of filmmaking.

Talking at an event, Rohit said, “Ranveer is a fabulous new-age actor. With this film, he will be able to display his range as a commercial star. Simmba is his biggest out-and-out masala film and I have full faith in it.” Well, we too have full faith in Ranveer because he is by far one of the most talented actors in the Indian film industry.

Don’t you agree? As we all know, Simmba is a remake of the Telugu hit film Temper (2015) starring Jr NTR but unlike his previous films, Rohit Shetty feels that Simmba is special and he hopes to win the audiences and of course, critics votes with this film. “Though the movie is based on Temper, there are merely a few plot points which are similar. It’s an entirely new story. It is my best written film till date,” reveals Rohit Shetty.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is all set to hit the theatres on December 28, 2018. Simmba is a cop drama and in the film, Ranveer Singh will be seen romancing debutante Sara Ali Khan. While in the film, Ranveer will be seen essaying the role of a cop, we cannot wait to watch the movie and see how Ranveer gives his own interpretation to the role of a cop because knowing Ranveer, he surely got something new up his sleeve.

While it was being reported that Rohit Shetty’s Simmba is going to clash with SRK’s Zero, however, the filmmaker refuted any such news. Rohit said, “We decided not to come together because that would affect numbers. It was a mutual decision.”
