Raipur: After the death of the bodybuilder from taking steroid injections to make muscles, rules will be made for GYM operation in the state. On this, the Speaker Dr. Charan Das Mahant has given instructions to the government on Wednesday.
BJP MLAs Ajay Chandrakar, Brijmohan Aggarwal and Shivratan Sharma raised the matter through attention.
Actually, the bodybuilder died on Tuesday. After this, the police have registered a case of culpable homicide on the trainer and the drug supplier.
Responding to questions from the opposition, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ravindra Choubey said that shops selling such drugs are being investigated. The shops selling the medicines are also being inspected by the government.
He said that no rules have been made by the government to operate the GYM, Nor have any rules been made before or after this by the Center and the State. After which the assembly speaker instructed the government to make rules related to the operation of the GYM.
Mohababazar’s bodybuilder Sandeep Thakur died of injecting horse power boosters. Sandeep was cremated on Tuesday. After this, his father Mohan Thakur appealed to the state government to make a law regarding GYM.
At the same time, the police have registered a case of culpable homicide against the GYM trainer and the businessman of Mumbai. Trainer Sumit Roy Chaudhary has already been arrested. Police have left for Mumbai in search of drug trader Nilesh Parmar.
