Russian President offers support to Iran after terror attack

Putin is reported to have sent in a telegram to Rouhani

After a terror attack in Iran, the Russian President Vladimir Putin not only expressed condolences to his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani but also put forth the need for intensification of anti-terror cooperation.

It is to be said that this was confirmed by Kremlin.

Putin is reported to have sent in a telegram to Rouhani where in he said “We are outraged by this bloody crime. Hopefully, everyone involved will be held liable”.

It need be mentioned that the terror attack targeted at least 24 people as a military parade in the southern Iranian Ahvaz city was ongoing.

The President offered condolences to the relatives and friends of those killed in the attack and wished a speedy recovery to those injured, according to the Kremlin.
