Salman’s Donation to Kerala Floods, Jaaved Jaaferi Seems Confused

Jaaved Jaaferi took to Twitter sometime back to post about how Salman Khan had donated Rs 12 crore to the Kerala Floods relief fund. However, the actor then deleted the tweet and said that he had just 'heard' about it

Kerala Floods 2018, has awoken humanity in all of us as we put our best foot forward for those affected and in desperate need.

Even Bollywood superstars contributed to the CM Relief Fund for the Kerala Floods such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kangana Ranaut, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt and Sushant Singh Rajput, just to name a few.

Salman Khan was shooting in Malta for Bharat when the calamity happened and in his August 21, 2018, tweet, the actor spoke about it.

Salman had tweeted, “Still deeply saddened by the calamity that has hit Kerala, my heart goes out to all who have suffered a loss and very happy to hear all the souls who have gone back to help out the victims.”

While no official confirmation has been issued on whether Salman has contributed or not, a recent tweet of Jaaved Jaaferi furthered our speculations of a donation made by Khan. Jaaved had tweeted, “Heard @BeingSalmanKhan donated Rs 12cr for Kerala.. this man is something else.

However, sometime later, the tweet was deleted by Jaaved. In substitution, the actor tweeted, “I had tweeted that I had ‘heard’ about @BeingSalmanKhan‘s contribution. Because it was a very strong possibility given his track record, I put forward my thoughts and admiration. Taking the tweet off till I can confirm it.”

Meanwhile, Salman recently wrapped shooting for Bharat which also stars Katrina Kaif.
