Soon after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, the conversation about ‘nepotism’ set off its foot where it was claimed that many Bollywood biggies boycotted Sushant and banned him from their production houses. Sanjay Leela Bhansali was one of the personalities who was alleged for banning Sushant Singh Rajput from his movies.
According to reports, Sushant Singh Rajput’s then-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande was approached by the ‘Padmaavat’ director to feature her in a Lavni dance number which was slated to be an eminent part of the movie. Regardless of the fact that the film casts Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to give importance to Ankita’s dance number.
When the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress was asked to sign a three-film deal with the director, she declined the offer and hence walked out of the song and the movie. After Ankita refused the offer, reportedly the ‘Ramleela’ director decided to remove the song from the film.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande called it quits after dating for six long years. They started dating soon after they met on the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Their split-up was highly conjectured by their fans but the actual reason for their break-up is still unknown.
