Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role, the film has unprecedented hype surrounding it and if trade pundits are to be believed, fireworks at the box-office are guaranteed. And why not? First and foremost, Sanju is a film based on one of the most controversial stars of Hindi cinema, which makes it an intriguing story. Second, it’s a Rajkumar Hirani film, a director who has an unmatched track record at the box-office. Third, it stars Ranbir, one of the most-loved stars of Bollywood.</p>

<p>While most trade experts have predicted an opening of over Rs 30 crore for Sanju, renowned film trade analyst Akshaye Rathi believes that the film will have a shelf life of at least two months.</p>

<p>Rathi, in a tweet that he posted on Wednesday evening, also shared that he was expecting a ‘solid opening’ for the film. <p>Sanju, also starring Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarbh and Boman Irani in the lead roles, among others, is slated for a June 29 release. The film, bankrolled by Rajkumar Hirani Films and Vinod Chopra Films in association with Fox Star Studios, will release on over 4000 screens.Film trade analyst Akshaye Rathi expects Sanju to have a shelf life of at least two months. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial, starring Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist, hits the screens on June 29.</p>
